Home-screen widgets redrawn in the app's colours: pills for today and soon, a dot per row, an "updated at" line, the mascot when there is nothing to show, and real previews in the widget gallery.
Household edit on its own screen, and owners can remove a member.
Photo uploads no longer fail with a server error.
A dropped connection while refreshing your session shows a message instead of signing you out.
The scanner no longer covers the help sheet or the storage picker.

A real light theme. Settings › Theme now does what it says, and follows the phone's setting by default.
Households can have a photo instead of an icon, shown everywhere the household appears.
Notifications: Subscribe buttons open the ntfy app on the right topic; copy your username and token in one tap.
Edit a storage: name, kind, icon and description, with a confirmation when the kind changes.
The mascot arrives: nine poses across the tips, help sheets, empty states and the sign-in screen.
Small motion everywhere: buttons give under the finger, forms pop in, rows slide out, meters fill in.

Nothing moves on load any more: one loading bar, the update banner as an overlay, the household pill and the tip bubble on the first frame.

One active household for every screen, with a pill to switch and a row in Settings.
The scan screen says where items go and lets you change it; a confirmation names the storage after saving.
Tapping a row on the home shelf opens the item.
Product photos on the shelf, in storages and on the item page.
Recipes show a category and a cuisine instead of emojis; the Use it up section explains itself when empty.
The keyboard's Done key saves; the hardware back button goes back instead of quitting; favourites on the cook page work again.

Lists are paged, so a big household loads as fast as a small one.
Recipe images are uploaded rather than linked.
In-app updates: the app tells you when a newer build is out and downloads it for you.
